Have you wondered what would happen if Johnny’s brought together one of my favorite members of Hey! Say! JUMP and one of my favorite Junior groups? Well here’s the answer.
So our first video of the day is of Yabu and B.I. Shadow singing Mayonaka no Shadow Boy, a personal Hey! Say! JUMP favorite of mine. So first the boys of B.I. Shadow sing the first verse and while they don’t have that something in their voice like the four who sing that part (Yamada, Yuto, Chinen and Daiki) YET, they did a nice job of doing that part. (and LOL at Kikuchi’s face when singing the second line. He like rolled his eyes). I did think that they did a very good job on the part sung by Kei, Keito and Ryutaro. So I can say that they are good dancers though and they made sure that I could see the moves very crisply. I feel like it would be easier to learn the moves from them. Now I’ve watched a few performances from these guys and this is a performance from a while ago so I’m sure they’re improving but I’ve noticed that they have a tendency to not all be in sync with their dancing. Of course, that’s not to say they’re not good but it’s an area they could work on. Then comes out Yabu singing the chorus solo and he absolutely KILLS it. This is why Yabu has the “angel’s voice.” I love when he sings “donna basho e mo.” Although I thought he was gonna go higher with it and I think it would have sounded better. Nonetheless, there’s just something about his voice that is amazing…so go Yabu!
And next we have School Kakumei. First, I must say that it was really cute when Yabu had his arms around them at the beginning! Now School Kakumei has never been one of my favorite Hey! Say! JUMP songs but I think watching this performance made me like it a little more. So maybe Yabu should re-record it as a solo song. I mean Takaki had his song on the Dreams come true single so…like the other performance, Yabu was the star but B.I. Shadow definitely held their own as well. Yabu’s dancing during the little music part…no comment lol.
So we’ve learned two things from these performances…
1) Hey! Say! JUMP needs to release some sort of CD soon (single / album) so I can hear new Yabu
2) B.I. Shadow needs to debut (even though they’ve only been a group for a short while…)
So get on that Johnny’s…
So it’s another birthday post, this time for the adorable Nakajima Kento!!! Interestingly, his birthday is like only a week after Fuma’s. He just turned 15 so everybody wish him a happy birthday!
There’ isn’t much substance to this post. I just wanted to wish him a very happy 15th birthday and hope that he has a year of even more success!!!
We’re at Volume Ten of Picture Spam!!! Hurray! I can’t believe that I’m here at the tenth volume! I hope you all are excited too because this issue is a little bit different. I’ve actually decided to feature B.I. Shadow in this week’s Picture Spam because I love them so much. But don’t worry, next week will be focused on Hey! Say! JUMP again. So let’s dive into it!
Our first picture is perfect for introducing the issue. It just looks like the kind of picture that introduces the public to a group…okay not really but you get what I mean. It does say “self-introduction” so I think that speaks for itself. Let’s go from left to right, shall we? Kikuchi Fuma is looking as hot as usual. I guess we’ll have to see in the future but he seems like he’ll do a great job at being the cool one. I can really see him pulling off that look off well. Plus the blue and red combination looks great on him so basically he looks great from every angle. Moving from hot to cute, we’re at Nakajima Kento!! He just looks so friendly and cute in this picture that you can’t deny it! I still think that there’s a very Chinen-element in it…but like younger Chinen. There’s something very innocent and likeable about his smile. It’s totally a Chinen smile, don’t you think? Takahata Misaki is our last member of the picture. Well honestly I’m not crazy about his picture because he doesn’t particularly happy. Actually…he looks a little bit scary to be honest. I know he’s not a scary guy. He’s actually a sweetheart so the photographer should have caught that face before he took the shot…
Well let’s go to Fuma’s domain of cool with the picture at our right. All three boys look great here and I personally found it was interesting that they switched it up a little bit (you’ll see what I mean as you read on). Although I was disappointed with Misaki’s first picture of this issue, I really enjoyed this one. He’s giving the cool vibe perfectly but if you look closely at his lips, there’s something a little extra. It’s hard to explain but there’s kind of a smirk about it that looks just a little cocky but in a good way. Like he knows how to give that attitude. Kento is usually the adorable one but he looks so comfortable giving the cool look so congrats to him for being versatile like that. Finally we have Fuma, who is usually the cool one. He actually looks the most cute and sweet here. He just looks like a little kid that you wanna hug.
It’s time to have some great daydreams with / about B.I. Shadow!! Without a doubt, Misaki is my favorite of this picture. Just the whole white theme kind of gives him an angelic feel but his face still kind of has that coolness to it that makes you feel protected. Like I feel if the two of us were cuddling in bed, I would feel very safe. That thought just makes me happy (hehehe). I wish I was the pillow!! (hahahahaha). So as usual, Kento looks like the absolute cutie pie. His pajamas look a little big on him so he ends up looking kinda like a little kid. I feel like we could just have a night of staying up late, eating popcorn and watching movies at a sleepover. We would always be laughing and then when it’s time to go to bed, we lay down even though we’re not tired and spend a few minutes just telling jokes or something. There’s something very cool about Fuma in this picture. It’s kind of similar to Misaki’s picture except I don’t get quite the same connection. I feel like he’s more vulnerable, which is good but then I don’t get the same kind of sense of security. I dunno, that’s just me. Anyway, I hope that these boys can give you very happy dreams tonight!!
So after three group pictures, let’s go individually, shall we? First up is Kento!! So obviously he’s performing in some sort of concert-type kinda thing. He just looks so natural when performing and there’s something very sweet about his personality that comes through strongly. I really like his outfit here and I think that the red vest really pops against the basic black and white. His hair is looking great and there’s something very relatable and likeable about him in this picture. I realy wish I saw him performing whatever he is singing because I’m sure I would be enjoying every minute. You see, this is why Johnny’s Entertainment needs to debut B.I. Shadow as a group so that they can release a concert DVD and I can watch it every day!! Admittedly, I’m going off topic here but just follow me. So I’m thinking that since TOKIO in 1994, Johnny’s has debuted a new group every 2 (or 3 in the case of Arashi -> Tackey & Tsubasa) and Hey! Say! JUMP was 2007 so maybe we’re getting a new one this year? I would love for B.I. Shadow to team up with like 2/3 other members. I’m a big fan of Morimoto Shintaro so I would like it if he was in the group (absolutely cutie pie). Maybe like…Hashimoto Ryosuke too? I dunno, either way as all three boys of B.I. Shadow have an official debut soon, I’ll be happy. Okay, this has been my small tangent for this Picture Spam, moving on…
Misaki time!!! Sometimes, the natural look is the perfect way to go. Notice the pure simplicity in this picture, just a green background and Misaki wearing a white shirt. As usual, I’m loving the hair and his eyes really stand out to me in this picture. They look really inviting (and that is an invitation that I am willing…more than willing to accept). He also has that cool smirk that he does so well. I wish I had the magazine this is from…not that I know what issue / magazine it’s from. Nonetheless, I wish that I had it. In case you were unaware, Misaki is hot and this picture is a good example of that! And now we’re at the final picture of Fuma, who looks like the definition of kawaii!! So slowly I’m learning that Fuma may not always be the cooler one. He’s definitely good at being cute too. I wish I had like a poster of this picture because it would just be great to wake up to a big picture of Fuma every day! The yellow hoodie is a nice touch too and the very sunny color just works. His smile is infectious here and you just wanna smile with him, don’t you?
Okay, I hope you all enjoyed this special edition of Picture Spam featuring the amazing Johnny’s Junior boys, B.I. Shadow. They’re awesome and occasionally I’ll be featuring them on this blog so I guess you’ll have to get used to them (lol).
Okay I’m taking a small little break from Hey! Say! JUMP with this post so I can say happy birthday to B.I. Shadow member Kikuchi Fuma!!! (It’s March 7th where I am now) So believe it or not, he’s 14 years old!! I seriously cannot believe how young he is because he really doesn’t look like it.
Also this post made me realize that I was switching up Kikuchi and Kento!! In my first B.I. Shadow post, I accidentally switched the names! No wonder he looked so different to me (lol).
Anyways, happy birthday Fuma and I hope you have a very happy year with B.I. Shadow (hint hint Johnny’s…make them the next group to debut!)
Now I’ll admit that I don’t really know much about the Johnny Juniors. Any knowledge I have of Juniors is Shintaro Morimoto and pictures of the rest of them in the usual magazines. Luckily though I’ve found love for a recently formed Junior group without even knowing they were a part of Johnny’s: B.I. Shadow.
B.I. Shadow is comprised of Nakajima Kento (14), Takahata Misaki (15) and Kikiuchi Fuma (13). These three appeared as the “bullies” in the amazing series Scrap Teacher featuring Yuto, Yamada, Daiki and Chinen. So apparently, they were announced as a new Junior group in November 2008 so I didn’t miss too much time. They just got assembled so I don’t think I’ll be seeing them in a group any time soon but I would love if they would just form a trio and start releasing some stuff. Seriously, I would be their number 1 fanboy so that’s something to keep in mind Johnny’s.
So let’s start with Nakajima Kento, who kinda reminds me of Chinen Yuri. Not facially or anything, it’s just the hair. I think of him as the cuter one rather than like a really hot guy. He was born in Tokyo on March 13, 1994 (holy crap, I can’t believe how young these guys are because they certainly don’t look it). His best school subjects are English and Music while his weakest are Mathematics and Science. His hobbies include playing the piano and reading books. Although he is somewhat impatient, he never gives up (which is a very admirable characteristic). The reason that he applied for Johnny’s in the first place was because he watched Hey! Say! JUMP’s Spring Concert and was impressed (which makes sense as his admired senpai is Yamada Ryosuke, as well as Akanashi Jin). He played Minobe Kento in Scrap Teacher and he didn’t get as big a role as I would have hoped (from what I’ve seen anyway) so hopefully he’ll have even bigger and better opportunities in the future!
Takahata Misaki is the one that I remember the most because of Scrap Teacher. He played Sawatari Misaki and because of the episode centered around him, I’ve come to love him. He’s also really hot and he’s a good actor! If you haven’t seen his episode (episode 7), then you really should give it a look! Misaki was born on August 07, 1993 in Kanagawa. His strongest subjects are Geography and Sports while his weakest subjects are Mathematics and English. He’s actually appeared in a quite a few T.V. shows and lives (granted, ones I’ve never heard of excluding the ever popular DREAM BOY). His admired senpai is Imai Tsubasa. I really enjoyed him in Scrap Teacher and hope I’ll be seeing a lot more of him in the future!
Finally we have Kikuchi Fuma. Now I don’t know him very well so basically as of now, he’s the “hot one.” I mean they’re all attractive but he’s the hottest one so that’s how I’ll remember him until I get to know him better. Anyway, he was born on March 07, 1995 in Tokyo (oh wow, he’s only 13!!! Seriously????? Well he’s about to turn 14 in like a month). His strongest point is that he always does his best even if he is somewhat dependent on others for support. His interests include walking and playing sports. His favorite foods are meat and puchinmato. His admired senpai are Yabu Kota, Tackey & Tsubasa and Yuta Uekasa (lol, who?). His role in Scrap Teacher was Kusumoto Fuma and again, I hope he gets more opportunities to show off what he can do because he did quite a good job in that drama.
So I know it’s off topic and I have Picture Spam Volumes to get done but I just had to make this post because B.I. Shadow is amazing!!! They’re hot and they can sing! Here’s the proof in the pudding!
So they performed their own song as well as Mayonaka no Shadow Boy (great song choice BTW). torn is a pretty good song so I definitely wouldn’t mind seeing that on a release sometime soon. Other Juniors appeared too for the second song and I also liked that one and it was nice to hear Shintaro sing. The performance of Mayonaka no Shadow Boy was pretty good I must say and I think they did Hey! Say! JUMP proud. Okay, so the “shadow” line wasn’t as good as Yamada’s or Yuto’s. Chinen’s line was done really well though so that’s a nice surprise. Anyway, B.I. Shadow is awesome and you should all check them out if you haven’t so already!!!
